MQ Health is a controlled entity of Macquarie University.

We’re governed by a board of directors and led by an executive team with extensive experience in the design and delivery of high-quality, patient-centred healthcare systems in Australia and internationally.

Our team is passionate about integrating patient-centred clinical services, education and research for improved patient outcomes.

Professor S Bruce Dowton

Chair

Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor S Bruce Dowton is a paediatrician, clinical geneticist, molecular biologist, researcher and academic with decades of leadership experience.

Deborah Green AM

Non-Executive Director

Passionate about clinical and corporate governance with a depth of experience in healthcare, Deborah Green is a strong advocate for organisational nursing quality, governance and management.

Professor H Patrick McNeil

Director

Professor McNeil has been a leader in research, teaching and clinical care. He is Macquarie University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Medicine and Health) and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences.

Robin Payne

Director

As the Vice-President Finance and Resources of Macquarie University, Payne has more than 30 years’ experience in finance and commerce and a keen understanding of financial markets, governance and reporting.

Elizabeth Koff AM

Non-Executive Director

A highly experienced and respected health leader, Elizabeth Koff understands health service delivery across public, private and primary care settings and the health system interfaces with aged care and disability sectors.
