Biography
Professor Fung is a vitreoretinal surgeon and macular disease specialist. He also has expertise in tumours of the retina and choroid. His interests include epiretinal membrane, macular hole, retinal detachment, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, and retinal and choroidal tumours. Prof Fung graduated in medicine with first class honours, before completing both a Master of Medicine in Ophthalmic Science and a Master of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology. He undertook ophthalmology training at the Sydney Eye Hospital. A spokesman, research scholar and multiple awards recipient, he has written multiple books and published dozens of manuscripts.
