Cardiology
A/Prof Raju is an internationally recognised Cardiac Electrophysiologist. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Leeds, was awarded a PhD from University of London and undertook 3.5 years of cardiac electrophysiology training at St Thomas' & St George’s Hospitals (London) and Royal Melbourne Hospital. His research in sudden cardiac death and sports cardiology has been published in high-impact journals, presented at peak international conferences, and won the Young Investigator Award at Heart Rhythm Congress. He performed specialist cardiac evaluation on over 2000 individuals as part of the UK Cardiac Risk in the Young screening program (including evaluation of elite athletes).
