Biography
Prof Magnussen graduated in Medicine from UNSW before completing a PhD in Nuclear Medicine and Biomedical Engineering. He qualified in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology from RPA Hospital and has worked in diagnostic and interventional radiology at major Public and Private Hospitals and is Professor of Radiology at Macquarie University, where he was pivotal in establishing Macquarie Medical Imaging, dedicating himself to establishing a unique standard of excellence at the University Hospital practice. He has completed advanced training in CT Coronary Angiography, undertakes advanced Neuroradiology imaging and has more than 120 publications in basic science and clinical research.
