Biography
Dr Merani is a medical retina specialist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases and other macular disorders. He completed his medical degree with Honours. He is a Fellow of RANZCO and a member of the Australian and NZ Society of Retinal Specialists and the American Society of Retinal Specialists. Dr Merani holds the position of lecturer at both Macquarie University and Sydney University. He has many research interests and has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals. He regularly attends and presents at local and international meetings He is a RANZCO examiner.
