Biography
Prof Leong is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at The University of New South Wales and Macquarie University. He is the current Director of Endoscopy and Senior Staff Specialist at Concord Hospital, former director of gastroenterology at Bankstown where he is currently a staff specialist. A/Prof Leong trained in Perth with further training in Hong Kong and his expertise includes interventional endoscopy and management of inflammatory bowel disease. He publishes widely, fosters novel research, serves to educate (at all levels) and is a Section Editor for the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
