Biography
Prof Lam is the Professor of Surgery at Macquarie University and Head of the Department of Clinical Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Sydney and completed general surgical training followed by two years of post-fellowship training in hepatobiliary, pancreatic and transplant surgery. Prof Lam’s main interests incl minimally invasive surgery of liver, gallbladder, pancreas and spleen as well as the surgical management of liver, pancreas and bile duct cancer. More recently, he developed a strong interest in robotic hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery.
