MQ Health Neurology is the home of the Motor Neuron Disease Service at Macquarie University (MNDS@MU). This service manages the integrated care of approximately 10% of the MND patients in Australia, and provides expert diagnosis and management of all stages of MND.

There are two different types of neurophysiology tests – nerve conduction studies (including electromyography) and electroencephalograms (EEGs).

MQ Health Neurology manages the care of over 400 patients with Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders such as Huntington’s Disease, Lewy Body Disease and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
MQ Health Neurology is the recipient of funding from the Michael J Fox Foundation, and is involved in unique research into the progression of Parkinson’s disease.
